Helpful Information
How do I get started?
Fill out our online contact form. We will reach out to you for a complimentary phone call to discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and determine if we would be a good fit for your child.
Do you accept insurance?
Simply Speech Therapy is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. We work with Beaming Health, our insurance billing partner, so any insurance charges you see will come from Beaming Health rather than Simply Speech Therapy directly.
For all other carriers, we are an out-of-network provider serving private-pay clients. Upon request, we’ll provide a superbill—a statement of services you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend confirming your out-of-network benefits with your insurer before beginning services.
We are also a vendored provider with the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC). Through RCOC’s Early Start program, children from birth to 36 months who qualify can receive early intervention speech therapy at little to no cost to your family.
What is your attendance and cancellation policy?
We understand that illnesses and emergencies occur; we just request 24-hour notice whenever possible to avoid a cancellation fee. Advance notification for any cancellations or requests to reschedule is always appreciated. Please refer to our cancellation policy in your intake paperwork for additional information.
Where will services be provided?
Services can be provided in three convenient ways: at our Laguna Hills office, in your family's home, or via tele-therapy. We travel throughout South Orange County, CA to provide speech therapy services in your child's natural environment. Our Laguna Hills office provides a dedicated space for focused therapy sessions. Virtual tele-therapy sessions are available to children and families anywhere in California.
Parent coaching sessions are available via live Zoom calls and can be provided to families looking for support nationwide! Parent coaching is not limited to families in California.
Is an evaluation required prior to services beginning?
All new clients must be evaluated prior to treatment unless an evaluation has occurred in the last six months in the areas of concern. We believe that evaluations are crucial in guiding our treatment process to ensure the best possible outcomes in therapy.
